physical
and
notional
The spatial temporal conditions and the changing relationships of the edge made us question the different types of relations that existed between each entity within themselves and what kind of relationships exactly constituted this edge. We learnt that every activity was directly or indirectly related to each other and there were several factors in between that were either agents for the change or were affected by the change. All the relationships were affected due to the spatial location and the placement of these factors which determined the kind of relationship between the two entities. There are several factors that are not located on-site but still affect the relationships that occur. These sites include external local organisations, large-scale government organisations, people that work in services and jobs, etc. The relationships demarcated in the map are mainly defined as ownership, permits, occupations and trade. These relationships are more defined by the zones that are marked. These zones consist of on a larger scale the edges of the physical entities on site, then the edges that are formed by the connections that exist within house or social boundaries. Notional and physical zones both are defined by these internal connections. Apart from the physical interconnections, there are connections that are not visible but still affect various entities and their spatial and temporal conditions.
